Raj Kundra has gotten himself into another trouble. Actress Sherlyn Chopra has apparently accused him of sexual assault during an investigation into an alleged pornography-related issue. The actress is believed to have testified against Raj Kundra and made some shocking claims against him. She's also accused of making explosive statements regarding Raj Kundra and Shilpa Shetty's marriage.
Raj Kundra informed Sherlyn that his relationship with actress-wife Shilpa Shetty was complicated, and he was stressed at home, according to Sherlyn. Sherlyn claimed she 'pushed' him away and fled to the bathroom because she was terrified.
Raj Kundra was charged with sexual assault by Sherlyn Chopra in April 2021. He was charged with violating sections 376 of the Indian Penal Code, as well as sections 384, 415, 420, 504 and 506, 354 (a) (b) (d), 509 of the Indian Penal Code, 67, 67 (A) of the Information Technology Act 2008, and sec 3 and 4 of the Indecent Representation of Women Act 1986.
Meanwhile, bollywood actress Sherlyn Chopra on Thursday has been denied anticipatory bail in the porn racket case.
Amid fear of getting arrested by the Mumbai Police Crime Branch, Chopra had moved Mumbai Sessions court to seek protection well before time. However, the Court turned down her plea, paving way for the investigation agency to record her statement as a witness in the creation and publishing of pornographic content on applications.
Chopra’s lawyer had told the court that the bail application was filed as the actress feared her arrest just like the others accused in the case. He further added that Sherlyn was not refraining from the investigation.
