On the opening day of the 2021-22 season, Manchester City has been given a daunting start to the defense team of their Premier League title. After this match, Manchester City would face Arsenal, Leicester City, Chelsea and Liverpool in its first seven matches.
The championship began with some box-office clashed on the opening weekend as Manchester United played against traditional rivals Leeds United at Old Trafford.
Brentford started debuted in the Premier League with a home game against its London neighbour Arsenal. Arsenal would then face Champions League winners Chelsea and Manchester City, it would be a tough start for Mikel Arteta’s team as they would go into their first season without European football in 25 years.

It is expected that Manchester City could have a good start but in the mid of the league (in October and November) it may face a problem. Man City should focus on a good start as a bad start may intensify pressure on the team in October. November would be tough as the game would be between Man City and Chelsea and Arsenal.
Arteta would face pressure from the starting of the game. Arteta would face Arsenal this season, have failed to secure European football last season. Arteta has to face Brentford and Fulham.
Liverpool could have a gentle start, however, the Christmas period would be a big test of Liverpool’s prospects with three away games at – Spurs, Leicester and Chelsea.
After winning the last year's Champion’s League, Chelsea would be expected to challenge for the Premier League title this season. Chelsea would open with a home game against Crystal Palace, the match would be followed by the matches against Arsenal, Liverpool, Aston Villa, Tottenham and Man City.
