Team India cricketer Prithvi Shaw was allegedly attacked in the wee hours of Wednesday by a few fans after he allegedly refused to give selfies. As per reports, Prithvi Shaw has himself filed an FIR and stated that the fans harassed him for selfies. As per the FIR filed by Prithvi Shaw, around seven people allegedly misbehaved with him and attacked his car with baseball bats after he came out of a five-star hotel in Mumbai. The complaint under IPC sections 143, 148,149, 384, 437, 504, and 506 has been registered at the Oshiwara police station. On Thursday, Prithvi Shaw's fight video went viral and shocked the fans around the world. Although the video showcased, the girl screaming saying that Prithvi and his friends attacked her, the FIR filed tells a different story altogether. Amidst the ugly brawl, social media influencer Sapna Gill's name popped out. And after the cricketer's complaint, she was arrested by Mumbai Police. Now, Prithvi Shaw's new fight video has been doing rounds on social media in which Sapna Gill can be heard calling her friends for backup while inside a car.
In the video, the voice is said to be of Sapna Gill. If it is truth, then Sapna can be heard talking and saying, "Arey Yaar Idhar Aao (Come here). Goregaon ke taraf aao, idhar sort ho gaya hai (Come to Goregaon an issue has come up). Haan jaldi aao mere aur shobit ke sath sort ho gaya hai (Yes! come fast there has been some incident with me and Shobit)."

Coming to the case and Sapna's involvement, after an argument with two fans over the batsman’s refusal to take selfies, Shaw was allegedly manhandled and his car was smashed with a baseball bat outside a luxury hotel in Santacruz. She has acted in Bhojpuri films along with stars such as Ravi Kishan and Dinesh Lal Yadav. Hailing from Chandigarh, Gill is a resident of Mumbai. She uploads content ranging from entertainment and dance videos to fashion photos on social media platforms. She has starred in movies such as Kashi Amarnath, Nirhua Chalal London and, most recently, Mera Watan, released in 2021.
