The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) had declared their results of the academic year 2020-21 earlier today. Students can check their results on the board’s official website which is pseb.ac.in.

Out of the 2,92,683 students who had registered for the PSEB class 12th examination, the state has reported 96.48 pass percentage.

For the safety of students and teachers amid the second wave of COVID-19, Punjab board also had to cancel their examinations just like CBSE and ICSE.

Punjab School Education Minister, Vijay Inder Singh had earlier announced that the state’s results of the academic year 2021 will be declared on the basis of the formula provided by CBSE.

This formula was followed by the boards as the board exams could not be conducted. The PSEB results were drafted on the basis of the average 30% theory of the best of five subjects in class 10th and 40% weightage on the marks that the student had secured in pre-boards, practical and the internal assignments which they made in class 12th
