Punjab CM meets Congress Panel over internal feud in the party

Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh, who reached New Delhi on June 3, is currently in a meeting with the three-member Congress Panel to discuss the party’s internal feud.

It may be noted here, that on the night on June 3, CM Capt Amarinder Singh had met a bunch of leader including MPs Ravneet Singh Bittu, Gurjeet Aujla and Manish Tewari, ministers Rana Gurmeet Sodhi and Vijay Inder Singla and MLAs Ravinder Amla and Dr Raj Kumar Verka.

Known for his aggressive and upright behavior, Punjab CM is said to maintain his stance in front of the panel and will table the accomplishments of the party made during his ongoing term.

According to sources, Capt Amarinder Singh might expose the conduct of the rebellious party leaders which include Navjot Singh Sidhu, MLA Pargat Singh, Charanjit Channi, among others.

Post meeting with the panel which is led by Rajya Sabha MP Mallikarjun Kharge, Punjab CM is likely to meet the party High Command over the internal conflict in party, whose wedge has further widened.
