Rave Party Bust: NCB raids continue, detains eight more people

The NCB detained Aryan Khan, the son of Shah Rukh Khan, and seven others on Sunday.

On Saturday (October 2), the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) surprisingly raided and busted the rave party on a cruise ship mid-sea off the Mumbai coast. Many prominent personalities were detained by the NCB and among those was the son of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan.


Today, the NCB team recovered more drugs on the Cordelia cruise and around eight more people have been detained by the bureau.

As per the reports, two, including Aryan Khan have been taken to court as NCB sought further custody of the accused amid the investigation. Aryan Khan was taken to the JJ Hospital for medical tests and has been brought back to the NCB office after the check-up.


On Sunday night the NCB arrested six youngsters, including Aryan Khan, in connection with the rave party busted aboard a luxury cruise liner, officials said here. The other arrestees are Nupur Satija, Ishmeet Singh Chadha, Mohak Jaiswal, Gomit Chopra, and Vikrant Chhokar.

Hours after their arrest, Aryan and two others nabbed -- Munmun Dhamecha and Arbaaz Merchant -- were produced before the Esplanade Magistrate Court, amid tight security, late on Sunday and were sent to the NCB's custody for one day till Monday, a prosecution lawyer told media persons.
