Rishabh Pant Accident: Cricketer’s car collided after he fell asleep while driving: Reports

Team India’s wicket-keeper Rishabh Pant met with a fatal cat accident on Friday early morning near his hometown Roorkee in Uttarakhand. As per the information, Rishabh Pant was on his way to surprise his mother when his car collided with a divider, overturned and caught fire. The cricketer was alone during the accident and saved his life by breaking the car’s window and coming out of it. Soon after the accident, Rishabh Pant was rushed to Saksham Hospital. The cricketer’s condition is stable now but he has suffered major injuries on knee, forehead and back.

Reportedly, Uttarakhand DG Ashok Kumar revealed that Rishabh Pant while driving suddenly fell asleep due to which he lost control of his vehicle. Reports have also revealed that as the cricketer was not wearing his seat belt, his life got saved otherwise he would have got stuck inside the car.

As per information, Rishabh Pant received two major wounds on his forehead, a ligament tear in his knee and abrasions on his back due to the accident. He is currently being treated at Max Hospital, Dehradun. Reportedly, earlier he was taken to the local hospital of Roorkee and was later shifted to Max after his condition got stable. Doctors have said that further information about his health will be given after major scans, X-rays and MRI are done.
