On a YouTube show called 'LegendsWithUnacademy,' Indian cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar recently recalled his first meeting with captain Virat Kohli. When 'teen' Virat Kohli came up to him for the first time and touched his feet, Sachin Tendulkar admitted that he was completely unaware of what was going on. Virat Kohli was also told by the 'Master Blaster' that certain things don't happen and that there is no need to touch his feet.



"I had no idea what was going on. 'What are you doing?' I inquired. I informed him there was no need for this and that such incidents did not occur. Then he stood up, and we turned to face those men, who began to laugh "Sachin Tendulkar recalled the incident.

Virat Kohli disclosed in an earlier interview that he was pranked by his senior teammates when he was picked for Team India. Senior teammates Yuvraj Singh, Munaf Patel, and Irfan Pathan told Virat Kohli that at the start of their careers, every youngster should touch Sachin Tendulkar's feet. As a result, Virat Kohli went to touch Sachin Tendulkar's feet in order to obtain his blessings.



During the interview, Sachin also disclosed that he struggled with pre-game anxiety for many years during his career. "I had anxiety for ten to twelve years and had several sleepless nights before a game. Later on, I came to terms with the fact that it was all part of my training. Then I made peace with the fact that I couldn't sleep at night. I'd start doing something to keep my mind at ease "Tendulkar said.

Virat Kohli, in particular, is regarded as one of the best batsmen in modern cricket. The Delhi-based cricketer made his international debut against Sri Lanka in 2008, and the 32-year-old hasn't looked back since. Kohli is one of the batsmen who is on the verge of breaking Sachin Tendulkar's record of 100 international centuries.
