Bhoot Police is one of the year's most eagerly anticipated multi-star cast films. Saif Ali Khan, Yami Gautam, Jacqueline Fernandes, and Arjun Kapoor are among the cast members. Kareena Kapoor Khan shared the first glimpse of her husband from the film on Instagram.  Although the poster is appealing and has attracted a lot of attention, but it was presented wrongly.

The poster shows Saif Ali Khan wearing a leather jacket paired with a black shirt in a stylish avtar while Chiraunji seems to be giving an angry look. Saif is holding a weapon which is probably for catching ghosts and Arjun Kapoor is holding a torch in his hand, accessorized with a knife-shaped pendant and studded rings.

The film was expected to be released on September 10 in the cinemas but now the makers said that the release will be digital in July on Disney Plus Hotstar.

On social media, the poster caused quite a stir, and netizens were back to their meme-making ways. The film's producers and Khan were called out for insulting Hindu saints on the poster.

Sharing the poster on her Instagram profile, actor Kareena Kapoor Khan wrote, “Don’t fear the paranormal and feel ‘Saif’ with VIBHOOTI.”

The poster shows Saif Ali Khan’s character carrying a sceptre with Hindu sculptures, sadhus, and skulls in the background. Netizens were quick to spot the Hindu sadhu’s in the poster and question: “Why Hindu saints in the background?”

The makers of Bhoot Police could not have predicted that the film would become a hit as soon as the first poster was released. The bad news is that it's becoming popular for all the wrong reasons. If you look closely at Saif Ali Khan's first look poster, you'll notice Hindu saints in the backdrop. This did not go over well with the internet community.
