It's been said that there are seven people on the planet that look exactly like you. Also, there is a saying that it is quite unlikely that anybody will meet them anytime soon. However, it appears that a doppelganger of India vice-captain Rohit Sharma has been spotted in Pakistan. As passionate about cricket as the Indians are, their arch-rivals are not far behind. In Pakistan, cricket is also regarded as a religion.

And the cricket fans in the crowd were looking forward to see action during the white-ball series against New Zealand. Instead, the Pakistani fans were left with nothing but disappointment.

The Pakistani supporters were left disappointed when the Blackcaps went home without playing a game, claiming security as the major reason.

Fans were entertained, however, when they spotted a doppelganger of Rohit Sharma, who was reportedly seen sipping juice somewhere in Pakistan. This man's memes are all over Twitter. A Pakistani fan saw a humorous aspect of the image and Tweeted it, “Who said Pakistan is not safe for visiting international cricketers?” Shiraz Hassan tweeted. “Just saw star Indian player Rohit Sharma, enjoying a glass of Aalu Bukhara (plum) sharbat at Rawalpindi’s saddar”.

Another fan saw Rohit Sharma's struggle to win games for the Mumbai Indians (MI) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and remarked that the 34-year-old needed this cold drink to relieve some of the burden from the league's failures.

Mumbai Indians struggling in the UAE IPL

MI have now lost three games in a row in the UAE leg of the IPL, and have dropped to seventh place on the points table. This is the first time the five-time IPL winners have lost three games in a row since 2018. Rohit Sharma, who is typically spot on with his leadership decisions, has been trying to get the team to perform as a unit.

Despite the fact that he has started all three games, the Hitman's blade has yet to produce the one huge illusive score. MI isn't out of the traps yet, as they still have four matches to play. They now have eight points and can still make the playoffs if they win their final four games.
