Shah Rukh Khan in Ayodhya mediation panel; CJI Bopde suggested

The outgoing Chief Justice of India S A Bobde wanted Shah Rukh Khan, the King Khan of Bollywood to be a part of the mediation committee to resolve the Ayodhya land dispute.

Ayodhya has always been a hot topic for politics in India for many years. The Ayodhya Land dispute invited various arguments by political parties and lawmakers of the country.

However, there’s an unknown fact about the Ayodhya land dispute which no one knew earlier. The outgoing Chief Justice of India S A Bobde wanted Shah Rukh Khan, the King Khan of Bollywood to be a part of the mediation committee to resolve the Ayodhya land dispute. It interesting and shocking as well but it is completely true. This a major revelation was done for the first time by the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) President and one of the senior advocates Vikas Singh.

Advocate Vikas Singh revealed this fact during the farewell ceremony of the outgoing Chief Justice of India. He said, “Justice Bobde, who was a member of the Ayodhya bench believed that the Ayodhya dispute should be resolved through mediation. He had asked me since I knew the family of Shah Rukh Khan very well, whether the actor will be interested in participating in mediation. I spoke to the actor. He was more than willing to be a part of the mediation process because he also felt the best way Hindus and Muslims can live together peacefully in this country is when there is complete religious harmony”.

Talking about the mediation panel; it was set up by a five-judge constitution bench headed by the then Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi in March 2019. Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan is busy shooting for his upcoming movie ‘Pathaan’ which is scheduled to release in 2022.
