Rhoden published a series of images of his six-year-old daughter Cora dressed up for Halloween about a week ago.

"Life is measured by the moments that take our breath away, not by the number of breaths we take," he said on the post.

"Princess you are my reason, my purpose, and my why #CoraCapri," reads a caption on the first photo, which shows Rhoden holding Cora.

Rhoden, who was 46 at the time of his death, died of a heart attack over weekend. Chris Aceto, Rhoden's trainer, confirmed his death to close friends, according to Generation Iron.

Social media posts from fellow athletes and bodybuilders began to come in for the late celebrity.

Cedric McMillan, a bodybuilder, shared a photo of himself and Rhoden on Instagram. He only tagged Rhoden’s Instagram account.

"One of the greatest," wrote friend Rob Bailey. We spent a lot of time together and had a lot of fun. "Man, you'll be missed."

Rhoden recently shared a meme on Instagram stories that said, "Be with someone who will take care of you.Not materialistically, but takes care of ur soul, ur well being, ur heart & everything that’s you.”

In red letters, Rhoden wrote "Real talk" over the meme.

Rhoden was a modern-day bodybuilder who rose to prominence after winning the prestigious Mr. Olympia competition in 2018.

In 1992, he found bodybuilding and began competing as an amateur. He was injured multiple times, and after his father died in 2002, he resorted to alcohol and supposedly became addicted to it.

Rhoden returned to the sport years later, after a lengthy recovery, and earned his International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness Pro card in 2010.

In 2011, Rhoden finished 11th in his Mr. Olympia debut. In 2012, he rose to third position and remained in the top five for the rest of the competition year after year.

At the age of 43, Shawn overcame Phil Heath in the Mr. Olympia competition, becoming him the oldest bodybuilder to ever win the title.

Rest In Peace, Shawn.
