Following her husband Raj Kundra's arrest in the pornographic racket case in July, Shilpa Shetty's family has been through some difficult times in recent weeks. After that, the actress went on a social media hiatus and took a break from her programme, "Super Dancer 4." She has, however, bounced back and resumed her life.

The 10-day Ganesh Chathurthi festivities begin on September 10, and Shilpa Shetty carried Lord Ganesha's idol home with zeal on Wednesday. Shilpa went to the Lalbaug Ganpati workshop in Mumbai to pick up her Ganpati Bappa idol.

Her outing's photos went viral on social media. Shilpa wore a printed salwar suit and big pink-tinted sunglasses to complete her ensemble. While driving Bappa to the car, the actress was in a joyful mood and yelled "Ganpati Bappa Morya!" She was encircled by a group of supporters who chanted with her.

Meanwhile, Shilpa Shetty has returned as a judge on ‘Super Dancer 4'. Raj Kundra was arrested on July 19 and charged with being a "key conspirator" in a pornography racket. The actress has also resurfaced on social media, where she has begun posting yoga-related stories. Shilpa broke her silence after the whole ordeal with a lengthy Instagram post.

"Yes! The past few days have been challenging, on every front. There have been a lot of rumours and accusations. A lot of unwarranted aspersions on me cast by the media and (not so) well wishers as well. A lot of trolling/questions posed… not only to me but also to my family.  MY STAND… I HAVE NOT COMMENTED YET and will continue to refrain from doing so on this case as it is subjudice, so please stop attributing false quotes on my behalf. Reiterating my philosophy of, as a celebrity “Never complain, never explain”. All I will say is, as it’s an on-going investigation, I have full faith in the Mumbai Police & the Indian judiciary. As a family, we are taking recourse to all our available legal remedies,” read her statement.

Shilpa Shetty was most recently featured in the film ‘Hungama 2,' which also starred Meezan Jaaferi and Paresh Rawal. Her next film will be 'Nikamma
