Indian Cricket Team's victory at the Gabba on Tuesday is still resonating in the cricket fraternity. The historic victory of the Indian Cricket Team is being considered as the best series win till now by many cricket experts.  The reason being, India defeated the mighty Australians without the presence of its front-line players. India proved most of the cricket experts' predictions wrong and clinched the Border-Gavaskar series for the third time.

However, it was Pakistan's former pace bowler Shoaib Akhtar who had predicted that India will win the Border-Gavaskar Test series ever since the Indian Cricket team bounced back in the boxing-day test match.

Now, Akhtar has outlined what actually made the impossible 'possible' that led India to defeat the mighty Australians. Akhtar on his YouTube channel talked about the reason behind India's historic win.

The speedster hailed the Indian cricket board and most importantly former Indian batsman Rahul Dravid. Shoaib said, "I was thinking what could be the reason behind India's victory? Why did India win? After thinking carefully, then I realized India won due to its investment. India who has invested in their youngsters 20 years ago has won, Rahul Dravid has won. They won two Under-19 world cups. These kids bolstered bench strength of Indian Cricket Team and therefore India's investment gave its return."

"There is a lot to learn because India opened IPL, players got exposure and then the players performed very well. Foreigners learned to play spin, Indians learned to play pace. But when you will, who the BCCI gave the academy. They gave the academy to the best Test player in the world who knew how not to ruin the youngster's natural games. Rahul Dravid made the India under-19 team, then he bolstered the NCA. And therefore today, Indian kids are thrashing Australians," added Akhtar.
