Kartik Aaryan was recently in the news for splitting ties with Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, and it was claimed that he has been dropped from the upcoming Dostana sequel.

According to multiple sources, the production studio opted to cancel the chapter due to his "unprofessional attitude," and Karan promised never to work with Kartik again.

The film was meant to be Kartik and Katrina Kaif's first collaboration.

According to the local news website, Kartik is the one who chose to leave the film.

“Apparently, creative disputes emerged between Kartik and the director Ajay Bahl, as a result of which the actor decided to leave the project,” the insider stated.
