Kartik Aaryan was recently in the news for splitting ties with Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, and it was claimed that he has been dropped from the upcoming Dostana sequel.

According to multiple sources, the production studio opted to cancel the chapter due to his "unprofessional attitude," and Karan promised never to work with Kartik again.

Kartik would no longer be a part of Shah Rukh Khan's production Red Chilies Entertainment's venture currently titled Freddie, according to a recent news.
The film was meant to be Kartik and Katrina Kaif's first collaboration.

"The main reason for Kartik being dropped from producer Shah Rukh Khan's project is the same as Dharma Productions' Dostana 2," according to the Komal Nahata-led entertainment website Film Information. Aaryan demanded that the script be modified once again, despite having signed the film with his approval.

Fortunately for Red Chillies, the film had not yet begun production, so there hasn't been much investment in the project, which would have otherwise gone to waste. Kartik has already spent nearly 20 days shooting Dostana 2."
