Notorious gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi and Jaggu Bhagwanpuria have declared themselves innocent in the murder case of Punjabi singer Siddhu Moosewala. He has filed a petition in Mansa court through lawyers in which it was said that he had no role in the murder and that he should be discharged from this case. The court has fixed the next hearing of the case on January 5. Moosewala's father Balkaur Singh said that they were deliberately trying to delay the decision.
Made the Police charge sheet their basis of innocence
According to police sources, both the gangsters have made the police charge sheet the basis of their innocence. In the cahrgesheet, the police had named him with reference to the gangsters caught in the murder case and it said that he remained in touch with gangster Lawrence and Jaggu through mobile phone.
Jaggu has said in his petition that he has been nominated on the statement of Manmohan Mohana in which he talked about being in touch with Jaggu and Lawrence. However, the police did not find any evidence of him keeping touch with both of the gansters through mobile phone. The police did not find anything suspicious through which he could be linked to this case.
Citing the lack of mobile network in the jail and separate barracks
According to sources, Lawrence and Jaggu also claimed that the jail department said that the mobile network does not work in the place where both of them were lodged. That is a dry area. In such an area, usage of mobile phone is not possible. Referring to Tihar Jail, the gangsters said that they were lodged in sdeparate barracks and had no contact with each other. Even in the police investigation it was not proved that they were in touch with each other.
Lawrence accepted that he had killed Moosewala
Earlier, an interview of Lawrence Bishnoi from jail had gone viral in which he admitted that Sidhu Moosewala was coming into his way. Moosewala was involved in the murder of his college friend Vicky Middukheda.
For this reason he was killed. Now after the petition, these statements of Lawrence's interview may become difficult for him. However, Bishnoi claims that he had never mentioned in the police interrogation that he got Moosewala killed or that he conspired to murder him.
Moosebala was murdered on 29th May
Punjabi singer Siddh Moosewala was shot dead on 29 May 2022 in Jawaharke village of Mansa. At that time, he was going to a relative's house with two friends without the gunman. In this case, the police arrested 4 shooters, Priyavart Fauji, Ankit Sersa, Kapil Mundi and Kashish of Haryana.
Punjab's shooters Jagroop Rupa and Manpreet Mannu were killed by the police during an encounter in Attari. The police had presented a charge sheet against more than 35 gangsters related to this case. The murder was described as a conspiracy by the Lawrence gang whose mastermind is said to be the gangster Goldie Basad who is currently in abroad.
Moosewala's father said - will give full answer to the petition
Moosewala's father Balkaur Singh said that the court has to listen to both the sides. This trick of gangsters may cause trouble for some time, but they will get justice and the guilty will be punished..
The government should arrange fast track courts for cases such as this. Tuesday was the fourth date for the charge frame, but every time they delay it by putting one or the other point. We will give a full reply to the petition filed by Lawrence and Jaggu.
