The Antim Ardas for Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala, who was shot dead on May 29, at around 5 PM, will take place at Baharli Anaj Mandi in Mansa today at around 11:30 AM and more than 1 lakh people are expected to reach and attend his Antim Ardas. Moosewala’s murder sent shock waves not only across the state but also the music world, as thousands of his supporters turned up at his residence after the news of his death surfaced.
Heavy security arrangements are in place by the police and alternate routes have been made by the district administration for the smooth flow of traffic and to avoid traffic jams on the roads leading to Mansa.
Fans of Sidhu Moosewala from across the state and neighboring states like Haryana, Rajasthan, and Himachal Pradesh are reaching in high numbers to attend his Antim Ardas.
Sidhu Moosewala’s father Balkour Singh had also appealed to fans to reach his Antim Ardas where he will speak his heart out.
Apart from fans, politicians, and celebrities, high numbers are also likely to attend the last prayer of the Sidhu Moosewala.
Moosewala was shot dead close to his village when he was on his way to visit his unwell aunt. He was murdered just a day after the Punjab government withdrew his security cover.
