A playback singer who accused the senior NCP leader who is also a Maharashtra Minister Dhananjay Munde of rape has taken back her FIR. The singer had sought help from NCP Cheif Sharad Pawar and Supriya Sule after the Mumbai Police allegedly refused to lodge an FIR against the Minister. She has also alleged that her life is in danger. As per the copy of the complaint, the singer has accused Dhananjay Panditrao Munde, who she claims is her brother-in-law, of sexual assault and rape under the pretext of marriage and blackmail.
Following this, Munde issued a clarification and refused all the allegations against him. Munde said, "This matter was known to my family, wife and friends. In this mutual relationship, we were blessed with a son and a daughter. I have given my name to both of these kids. From school admission to all the papers, these kids have my name as parent and stay with me. Since 2019, the woman and her sister Renu Sharma started demanding money. I have SMS proofs that Renu Sharma asked me billions of rupees. "
Now, the Singer has taken back the FIR against Munde and also shared her statement publically that she is taking her FIR back. She shared her statement in hindi which says, "मैंने श्री धनंजय मुंड के खिलाफ शादी के वादे और बलात्कार का जो आरोप किया था उसके लिए मेरा निम्नवत निवेदन है। मैं स्पष्ट करना चाहती हूं कि मेरी बहन और धनंजय मुंडे के बीच कुछ समय से दरार आई और कोर्ट केस शुरू होने से मैं मानसिक तनाव व दबाव में थी। लेकिन विरोध पक्ष को उनके खिलाफ जाते हुए देख मुझे लगा कि मैं कोई बड़े राजनीतिक षडयंत्र का शिकार हो रही हूं और कुछ लोग मेरे कंधे पे बंदूक रखकर चला रहे हैं और यह सब गलत है।
मैं अपने घर के किसी भी व्यक्ति का नाम खराब रिश्तों से बचने के लिए नहीं करना चाहती। अंत में मैं बस इतना कहना चाहती हूं कि मैं धनंजय मुंडे के खिलाफ दायर शिकायत को पूरी तरह से वापस ले रही हूं। मैं उनके खिलाफ ऐसी किसी भी शिकायत का पीछा नहीं करना चाहती, रिकॉर्ड के लिए मैं स्पष्ट करना चाहती हूं कि मुझे शादी के वादे के उल्लंघन और बलात्कार की कोई शिकायत नहीं है और न ही कोई अयोग्य फोटो व वीडियो है। यह स्टेटमेंट मैं पूरे होशो हवास में दे रही हूं।"
(I have the following request for the marriage promise and the rape allegation I had made against Mr. Dhananjay Mund. I want to clarify that there has been a rift between my sister and Dhananjay Munde for some time and I was under mental stress and pressure as the court case started.
