Sonu has made a name for himself not only in the Hindi film industry, but also in Tollywood. He has appeared in films such as Arundhati, Anjaneyulu, Nene Mukhya Mantri Naithe, and others.

But this reel life villain has turned to real life hero for many. He has actually turned messiah for the general public.
During the Coronavirus pandemic, Sonu Sood received recognition for his philanthropic initiatives.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, Sonu Sood has been actively involved in many types of relief activities. He's been at the forefront of the fight and has aided tens of thousands of people. His well-intentioned effort is unusual in that few people, even among the wealthy and powerful, were willing to devote themselves to it.
He began by arranging meals, buses, trains, and chartered flights for stranded migrant workers, at a time when others had turned their backs on them. He fed 45,000 migrants on the streets and arranged for them to return home to their families via various kinds of transportation.
Sood even opened his hotel in Juhu, Mumbai, to healthcare personnel as a COVID-19 treatment centre for nurses, doctors, paramedical staff, and others who were affected. As a thank you for their service, the actor also donated 25,000 face shields to Maharashtra police officers.
Sood organised buses for Tamil Nadu's Idli traders to return home.
He has established helplines and applications to assist migrant workers in locating assistance and employment. During the second wave, he was a guardian angel for many who sought his assistance online for oxygen cylinders, medicines, and hospital beds.
He has received numerous awards for his selfless service throughout these tough times. Sood was awarded the SDG Special Humanitarian Action Award by the United Nations Development Programme in September 2020.
Because of his generous and caring gestures, this movie villain has become a real life hero for thousands of people over the last few years.
"It feels like God is somehow making things happen and we are just following his orders," Sood stated in an interview when asked how he performs such incredible job.
