Sourav Ganguly, also known as Dada, is one of India's leading batters. He was the captain of the Indian cricket team for more than five years, and his country even won the World Cup in 2003. He is now the President of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), where he is giving the Indian cricket squad a fresh look.

1.   Sourav Ganguly was given the name Maharaj by his parents, which means "Prince." As a result, Geoffrey Boycott affectionately called him as "The Prince of Calcutta," and he became known by that nickname.
2.  Despite being a right-hander, Ganguly writes, bowls, and does practically everything with his right hand. Sourav, on the other hand, held his elder brother Snehashish's bat in his left hand so that he could use his elder brother's kit since he was a left-handed batsman.
3.  Since he was a child, Ganguly has been a passionate football lover. Ganguly was enrolled into a cricket academy because of his brother. Ganguly, on the other hand, ultimately mastered the game to the point where he succeeded his brother in the Bengal Ranji Trophy squad.
