“I had just started learning how to spell while I was in school. I honestly had no idea how to spell my own name. I called out to Mom (late actress Sridevi) while she was showering in her bathroom. ‘How do you spell my name, Mumma?' She spelt my name incorrectly. J-A-N-H-A-V-I, she said. I never questioned it for some reason. "It's been eight years," she stated.

“We were on our way someplace, I believe to London, and I finally opened my passport and realised that my entire existence had been a lie,” she says. My friends continue to make fun of me. ‘You need to shut up since you didn't know how to spell your name until you were 12 years old,' they remark every time I tell them something,” she said.

Well the Dhadak actor shared a throwback photo of herself with Sridevi and expressed her love for her. Janhvi wrote, "Happy birthday Mumma. I miss you. Everything is for you, always, every day. I love you (sic).”
