While Shah Rukh Khan remains busy in the promotion of his upcoming movie Dunki, his wife Gauri Khan has received a legal notice from the Enforcement Directorate (ED). SRK's wife Gauri Khan was served with ED's notice on Tuesday for allegedly endorsing a brand embezzling Rs 30 crore. Apart from being the wife of SRK, Gauri is a film producer, interior designer, and the brand ambassador of Lucknow-based real estate company Tulsiani Group. 

 

As per reports, Tulsiani Group is accused of duping Rs 30 crore from investors and banks and hence Gaura Khan is also on ED's radar. Reports suggest that ED is looking to probe Gauri Khan's financial dealings linked with the firm. And, therefore, Gauri can also be summoned by the ED if Shah Rukh's wife's family to a satisfactory response to the agency's notice. 

 

Reports further suggest that ED will investigate various aspects of the case as how much money Gauri received to become the brand ambassador of the Tulsiani group. There will be scrutiny and they will look for the information regarding the contracts made for the position of the company's brand ambassador and also for other documents. 

 

What is Tulsian embazzelement case?

 

As per the information available, a Mumbai-based person Kirit Jaswant Shah purchased a flat for Rs 85 lakh in 2015  in a project in Lucknow by the Tulsiani Group called Sushant Golf City.  However, Shah didn't get possession of the flat, and his money was also not refunded. As a result, Shah filed a complaint against the directors of Tulsiani Group, namely Anil Kumar Tulsiani, Mahesh Tulsiani, and brand ambassador Gauri.
