India's iconic Red Fort on January 26 witnessed it's one of the most tragic and disturbing days after farmers in the name of peaceful protest under Tractor rally hoisted their own flag. Everyone is shocked by this incident on 26 January. Now farmer leaders have blamed actor Deep Sidhu for the violence. A photo related to Deep Sidhu is going viral in which Sunny Deol and PM Modi are seen. In such a situation, this incident that happened in Delhi on social media is being described as government-sponsored.
After questions started raising, Bollywood actor and MP from BJP Sunny Deol gave a clarification on this picture through a post. Sunny on his Twitter wrote, "आज लाल क़िले पर जो हुआ उसे देख कर मन बहुत दुखी हुआ है, मैं पहले भी, 6 December को ,Twitter के माध्यम से यह साफ कर चुका हूँ कि मेरा या मेरे परिवार का दीप सिद्धू के साथ कोई संबंध नही है।जय हिन्द (Today, I am very sad to see what happened on the Red Fort, I have already made it clear on Twitter, on 6 December, that my or my family has no connection with Deep Sidhu.Jai Hind)

Going by the various media reports, farmers claim that Sidhu had supported Sunny Deol in Punjab during the Lok-Sabha election of 2019. Rakesh Tikait said, "Deep Sidhu is not a Sikh, he is a worker of the BJP. There is a picture of him with the PM. This is a movement of farmers & will remain so. Some people will have to leave this place immediately- those who broke barricading will never be a part of the movement."
