In Jalandhar, a suspected case of death of an ASI has come to light in the Gadha area late at night. Before the death of the ASI, a video has also surfaced in which the deceased ASI was refusing to drink alcohol from some people. In this video, two people including ACP North are seen who was having an argument with deceased ASI Swaran Singh over drinking alcohol. The wife of the deceased ASI alleged that the video was made 15 minutes before his death came to her and after 15 minutes when she called, she came to know that her husband had died of bullet injuries.
The deceased ASI had sent this video to his sons and daughters sitting abroad. After the police investigation that morning, it was revealed that ASI Swaran Singh shot himself and committed suicide after being upset with ACP Sukhjinder Singh and 2 police personnel. The whole incident took place outside the ACP's house and the CCTV video of him standing there also surfaced.
Ranjit Kaur, the wife of the deceased Swaran Singh, told that at 12:23, she got a video in which her husband was arguing with some people, during which ACP North Sukhjinder Singh was also present who is seen in the video. After 15 minutes when she called on her husband's number, there were no calls. She alleged that till now he was not even suspected and took everyone himself to the civil hospital and whatever happened because of the police department staff. It was also told that her husband has had many arguments with the officers of his department.
After which ASI Sucha Singh was called, but he also did not pick up the phone, after that she called again on her husband's number, then three more such Sukhwinder Singh picked up the phone and told her that her husband shot himself and cut the phone. Ranjit Kaur said that when this video came, in this video made by her husband, her husband was telling other people not to consume alcohol. During this, ACP North Sukhjinder Singh was also seen standing in this video, there is no information about what happened after 12:23. He sent this video to me along with his sons and daughters before he died. She said that to get justice for her husband, the police commissioner and wherever needed to go, she would go there and present her side.

The police, taking the cover of this sensational incident, made a big disclosure saying that it was true that Swaran Singh shot himself and committed suicide outside the house of ACP Sukhjinder Singh and after closely investigating the spot, some CCTV videos and statements of his wife. A case under 306 IPC has been registered against the accused on the basis. DCP Investigation Jaskiran Jeet Singh said that based on the statements of the wife of the deceased Swaran Singh, a case has been registered against the accused.
