New Zealand and Afghanistan’s match would decide India’s fate in the game as India can only qualify for the semi-final of the tournament if Afghanistan beats New Zealand in today’s game. Ahead of this, Rashid Khan has reacted to Ravichandran Ashwin's offer to assist injured Afghan spinner Mujib Ur Rahman in regaining fitness for the critical match against New Zealand. Rashid Khan and Ravichandran Ashwin's sarcastic chat is now viral on the internet.

R Ashwin, India's premier off-spinner, wished the Mohammad Nabi-led team well and joked that India is eager to assist in Mujib Ur Rahman's recovery before the match.

To this Rashid Khan sarcastically, in Telugu, replied, “@ashwinravi99 Bhai Don’t worry our team Physio Prasanth Panchada “Chusukuntunnaru”,” which loosely translates, “Don’t worry brother, Afghanistan’s team physio Prasanth Panchada is treating the players well.”

On November 5, the Virat Kohli-led team trashed the Scotland team by 8 wickets and kept their hopes to qualify for the semi-final alive. KL Rahul (50 off 19 balls) and Rohit Sharma (30 off 16 balls) went berserk in Power-play. After bowling out Scotland for 85, India made 89/2 with 81 balls to spare. The win meant that India has the highest net run rate in Group 2 of Super 12.

Now, all Indian’s eyes would be on today’s match, in which Afghanistan would lock the horns with New Zealand at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi at 3:30 pm IST.
