This Pakistani player will become Shahid Afridi's future son-in-law

Shahid Afridi, a cricket celebrity, has declared that Pakistani bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi will be his son-in-law.

Shahid Khan Afridi, the former Pakistani cricket captain, stated on Saturday that his eldest daughter will marry Pakistani fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi in the future.

Shahid was asked about his daughter's engagement to famous pacer Shaheen in a recent interview with a private channel, and he said that if God wills, the young bowler wil
l be his son-in-law in the future. Shaheen had no interaction with his daughter prior to this new relation, according to the cricketer.  



Shaheen Afridi, a 21-year-old Pakistani cricketer, has risen to prominence in a short amount of time. He has so far represented Pakistan in 17 Tests, 25 One-Day Internationals, and 25 Twenty-20 Internationals. He debuted in international cricket at the age of 17 and has since played for the country on a constant basis. In ODIs and Test cricket, he has taken over 50 wickets.


Former captain said,  "We Afridis have eight tribes, Shaheen and we belong to different tribes,"

He went on to say that Shaheen's parents had a great desire for the two families to formalise their friendship for the past two years.

Shahid stated that his daughter aspires to be a doctor and that she is undecided as to whether she would continue her studies in Pakistan or in England.

Ayaz Khan, Shaheen's father, has already spoken to the media, confirming that the two families have a long history of friendship and that Shahid's family had approved the proposal.
