Chennai has lost two quick wickets after a quiet start against DC. Avesh Khan took out du Plessis on the fourth ball of the second over and on the first ball of the third over Chris Woakes took out Ruturaj, leaving CSK in a bit of a bother and looking to rebuild. Suresh Raina and Moeen Ali started building the innings by stitching up a partnership, but in the ninth over Ashwin got the better of Moeen Ali. Suresh Raina and Ambati Raidu are looking to build together to take CSK to a good total that gives them a chance at taking on Delhi Capitals.  


Earlier, In the second match of the Indian Premier League, 2021, at the Wankhede Stadium here on Saturday, Delhi Capitals captain Rishabh Pant won the toss and elected to field against Chennai Super Kings (CSK).

“The first match as captain for DC and Rishabh Pant wins the toss!” wrote the Delhi Capitals on Twitter. He has chosen to take the field first.”

During the pre-toss conversation, both captains sounded anxious.

MS Dhoni, the captain of the opposition, expressed his desire to play, saying, "We were also interested in bowling. It's a little more difficult to defend on this terrain."
