Tokyo Olympics 2020: TV celebs Himanshi Khurana, Karanvir Bohra wishes ‘lots of luck’ To Indian Athletes

TV stars, like their Bollywood counterparts, have sent out special messages in support of Indian athletes competing in the Tokyo Olympics.

The 2020 Summer Olympics kicked out in Tokyo today (July 23, 2021) with a rousing opening ceremony at Japan National Stadium. Many Bollywood stars, including Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, and Aditi Rao Hydari, have expressed their support for Indian athletes.


TV stars, like their Bollywood counterparts, have sent out special messages in support of Indian athletes competing in the Tokyo Olympics. Karanvir Bohra, who is well known for his role in Naagin, took to social media to wish everyone who is competing and representing India good luck.

“Go #TeamIndia, loads and lots of love and luck...” the actor tweeted.  In his video message, he can be seen saying, “Here’s wishing all the real heroes… the athletes who are representing India at the Tokyo Olympics. Wish you guys all the best. I support each and every one of you. Make India proud. Jai Hind.” 

Meanwhile, Himanshi Khurana of Bigg Boss 13 fame took to Twitter to share a few images from the occasion. “It’s time to #cheers4india A proud moment for every Indian Flag of India #TokyoOlympics2020 #india (sic).”The Punjabi actress and singer wrote.

On Friday, Japanese tennis sensation Naomi Osaka lit the Olympic cauldron to mark the official start of the Summer Olympics. A total of 19 Indian athletes are competing at the Olympics. As they prepare to make the country proud on the international stage, many netizens and celebrities boosted their confidence by cheering for them and wishing them success on social media.
