Ukrainian army shoots down Russian fighter jet over Nikolaev; captures & films pilot's confession; Watch

Amid the partial ceasefire, a video is doing rounds on social media which alleges that the Ukrainian army shot down a Russian fighter plane and also captured the pilot.

The world finally breathed a sigh of relief after Russia declared a partial ceasefire on Saturday at 07:00 GMT (12:30 AM IST) to open humanitarian corridors for the evacuation of stranded civilians from Ukraine. Russia came on terms of partial ceasefire after the Western world is criticising Vladimir Putin and many innocent civilians lost their lives in war-torn Ukraine. Now, amid the partial ceasefire, a video is doing rounds on social media which alleges that the Ukrainian army shot down a Russian fighter plane and also captured the pilot. 

European media Nexta TV shared the video on its Twitter handle and alleged that the Ukrainian army shot down a Russian fighter jet and also captured the pilot. Not only this, but the confession of the pilot was also shared by the European media page. In one video, it can be seen a jet on fire which is allegedly been shot down by the Ukrainian army in Nikolaev. In another video, it can be seen that the pilot was captured by the Ukrainian army. 

The captured Russian fighter jet pilot can be seen keeping both hands behind his head in a position of surrender. He can be also seen answering the Ukrainian army their questions after being captured. One of the social media users also shared the transcripts of what the captured Russian pilot is saying and what the Ukrainian army personnel is asking. As per the transcript, the Ukrainian army is asking the Russian pilot about his whereabouts, his birthplace, name, family, rank and where is he stationed. To that, the captured Russian pilot responds and he also reveals that he was stationed in Crimea.
