Union Minister Piyush Goyal joins 'Kacha Badam' trend after India adds its 10th Unicorn in 2022

Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal on Wednesday gave a shoutout to the 10th Unicorn India added in a span of less than 2 months in the year 2022. However, to do so Union Minister Piyush Goyal chose a quirky style. To congratulate India's 10 Unicorn of the year 2022, Piyush Goyal joined the Kacha Badam trend which sent netizens into a frenzy. 

Piyush Goyal on Wednesday took to its Twitter handle and shared a meme on Kacha Badam stating that another 'Kacha Badam' becomes 'Pakka'. Sharing 'then & now' photo viral Kacha Badam singer Bhuban Badyakar, Union Minister Piyush Goyal wrote, "Another 'Kacha Badam' becomes 'Pakka'. India adds its Tenth Unicorn in just 53 days."

As per Yourstory.com, Hasura, a software developer whose solutions help companies turn any database into a GraphQL API (application programming interface), has become the latest Indian startup to enter the unicorn club in 2022. Hasura, the Bengaluru and San Francisco-based startup on Tuesday stated that it has secured $100 million in a Series C funding round led by Greenoaks. Hasura is a Sanskrit word for deamon was founded in 2017 by Tanmai Gopal and Rajoshi Ghosh.
