Monday brought another disappointment for the Indian Cricket and especially for skipper Virat Kohli as India suffered a whitewash at the hands of New Zealand. In a time interval of 8 years, it was the first time India was whitewashed by New Zealand. New Zealand defeated India by 7 wickets at the Hagley Oval in Christchurch on Monday.

Post the match Virat had to face many heated questions of journalists. However, what caught attention was his anger when he was asked by a journalist on his recent aggressive send off to New Zealand captain Kane Williamson and his use of offensive language at the crowd.

Kohli was caught putting his finger on his lips in a gesture to silence the crowd and saying something that social media users said included an expletive.

He was also asked about India's Vice Captain poor form Ajinkya Rahane and why India is giving continuous chances to Wicket Keeper batsman Rishabh Pant.
