On Saturday, July 10: The women’s singles final was held betweenAshleigh Barty and Karolina Pliskova. At this event, Kate Middleton and PrinceWilliam came to attend the match and were seated at the first row of thespectator’s box. Kate was wearing a green midi dress which was backed up withwhite pumps and Prince William was spotted wearing a light blue suit with anavy-blue tie.
The duke and duchess shared the photos of the royalcouple on their official social media handles. Kate was seen after a week whichis because she was tested positive and had self-isolated her. According to theKensington Palace, at present, is showing no symptoms of COVID-19.
After the tournament, she handed over the trophy to the winner,Ashleigh Barty and walked up to her to treat her. Kensington Palace shared avideo and photos from the event and wrote, “What an incredible match and performanceby both athletes! Congratulations @ashbarty on being crowned #Wimbledonchampion. It was amazing to see the atmosphere and support from the fansechoing through centre court once again. Well done to @Wimbledon and the staffon continuing to make the Championships such a special event (sic).”
Kate was spotted at the tennis match in emerald green whichis a customized version of Emilia Wickstead’s Denver midi dress, which shepaired it with Jimmy Choo's white pumps.
Last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic the Wimbledon tournaments were canceled.
