YouTuber, who made his dog fly, arrested by UP police for filming ‘Nidhivan Raj’ at night

On Sunday, Police arrested YouTuber Gaurav Sharma, who runs a channel named GauravZone, for allegedly shooting UP’s sacred place Nidhivan Raj in Vrindavan, at night, where no one is allowed at night. 


It is believed that in Nidhivan Raj Lord Krishna plays ‘rass lila’ with Radha during the night and no one is allowed to see and disturb them.


As per the police officials, the admin of the youtube channel was shooting the place during the night a week ago. Gaurav was arrested by the cops from his Delhi resident. Gaurav has admitted that, on November 6, he, along with his friends Mohit and Abhishek, and cousin Prashant, shot a video of Nidhivan Raj at Night, during interrogation, police informed.

The case was registered by Rohit Goswami, the priest of Nidhivan Raj, after Gaurav uploaded the filmed clip on his YouTube channel on November 9. The video was later deleted after priests protested.  


"While Sharma has been sent to judicial custody, efforts to nab his associates are on," police official Martand Prakash Singh said. A case under section 295A of the IPC and section 66 of the IT Act was registered in the Vrindavan police station, according to the officials. 


It is not the first time that Gaurav has landed in such a trouble, earlier in May, Gaurav was arrested for animal cruelty after he tied his dog, Dollar with hydrogen balloons and asked him to fly. A case was registered against the YouTuber in south Delhi’s Malviya Nagar Police Station under various sections of the Indian Panel Code (IPC). The complaint has been registered under Sections 118, 269, 34 of the Animal Cruelty Act.
