In his second over against Zimbabwe in the second T20I on Friday, Arshad Iqbal, who was making his international debut for Pakistan, took off the outer layer of the batsman's helmet with a venomous bouncer. Zimbabwe finally defended their 118-run total by bowling Pakistan out for 99 runs and winning the match for the first time against Pakistan in 16 attempts.

Kamunhukamwe was noticeably shaken as a piece of the helmet flew off. In a show of concern, Pakistani fielders approached the batsman.



The Zimbabwe physio was seen coming out to check on the batsman's condition, and a mandatory concussion examination was conducted before play could resume.


In their 20 overs, Zimbabwe managed to score 118/9. Soon after, Arshad Iqbal took his first international wicket, finishing with figures of 1/16 in his first match for Pakistan.

Pakistan were all out for 99 runs in response, with Babar Azam scoring 41. Just two others scored in the double digits.

Pakistan went from 78-3 to 99 all out in a matter of minutes.

The Zimbabweans won by 19 runs to tie the series 1-1 and earn a place in the series decider on Sunday. They were defending a meager total of 118-9.

It was Zimbabwe's first T20 victory in two years, and their first at home since the year 2016.
