Stephanie McMahon goes on sabbatical from WWE; pens reason behind her decision for fans

Stephanie McMahon on Saturday announced that she will be taking a leave of absence from her responsibilities from WWE for sometime.

Stephanie McMahon, WWE's Chief Brand Officer on Friday announced that she will be taking a leave of absence from her responsibilities for some time. In a surprising decision, Stephanie McMahon took to her Twitter handle to announce her sabbatical from WWE and also penned down the reason behind her decision. Stephanie McMahon's leave of absence from WWE means her father Vince McMahon will be the only McMahon who remains with the organization until her return. 

Notably, Vince McMahon is the CEO of WWE and also a wrestler himself. It is pertinent to mention here that Stephanie McMahon's brother Shane McMahon stepped down as a company executive in 2010 and was reportedly released from the WWE earlier this year.

Stephanie McMahon on Saturday announced that she will be taking a leave of absence from her responsibilities from WWE for sometime. Furthermore, Stephanie McMahon stated that she is taking leave of absence in order to focus on her family. Notably, Stephanie McMahon also stated that she will come back to the organisation after she takes care of her family. "As of tomorrow, I am taking a leave of absence from the majority of my responsibilities at WWE. WWE is a lifelong legacy for me and I look forward to returning to the company that I love after taking this time to focus on my family," wrote Stephanie McMahon. 



Stephanie McMahon has been with WWE since 2000 and also was a part of the show for 18 years. Stephanie married WWE star Paul "Triple H" Levesque in 2003 and the couple share three children together, daughters Aurora Rose, 15, Murphy Claire, 13, and Vaughn Evelyn, 11.
