

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann will launch the new women support scheme during a state-level event in Adampur on the birth anniversary of B. R. Ambedkar today and under this scheme, eligible women will receive a monthly amount of ₹1000 to ₹1500 and this money is expected to start from July.
As per the information the registration will begin in two phases:
From April 15 (Pilot phase – 9 areas)
Adampur, Malout, Sri Anandpur Sahib, Dirba, Sunam, Moga, Kotkapura, Batala & Patiala Rural
From May 15 (Rest of Punjab)
Registration will start in the remaining 108 constituencies
The monthly amount of ₹1000–1500 is expected to start from July after registration is completed.
