2-day holidays announced in 9 schools of Jalandhar on September 11-12

In a major development, Jalandhar DC Himanshu Aggarwal on Wednesday declared 2-day holidays on 11th and 12th September in 9 schools of Jalandhar district.

Why school holidays again in Jalandhar?

Due to continuous heavy rains, the Punjab government had declared holidays in all schools till 7th September, meanwhile it has come to notice that some schools in the district have suffered a lot due to heavy rains and flood relief camps have been set up in some schools

Due to this, earlier 41 schools were closed. After reviewing them today, now only 9 schools are not safe to open for children, due to which 2 days holiday has been declared in these schools, the list of which is as follows:-
