Department of Home Affairs of Punjab Government on Wednesday transferred Naresh Kumar Dogra from DCP Operations in Jalandhar to AIG SSOC, Fazilka.
Naresh Kumar Dogra is said to be a controversial officer and his transfer from Jalandhar may have been linked to some controversies. When families of two influential families of Jalandhar were involved in a brawl, his name also popped out in controversy.
Notably, Punjab Government also gave an Additional Charge to Damanbir Singh of SP, Social Media, Punjab and Chandigarh. He will also be serving as SP, ANTF, Punjab, SAS Nagar.
