Dispute Turns Violent in Valmiki Mohalla

Group Attacks Youth, One Returns With Kirpan
The assault reportedly began with several youths allegedly surrounding the victim and beating him with kicks and punches. The situation took a more serious turn when one of the attackers returned carrying a sharp-edged kirpan and allegedly began striking the youth.
The CCTV footage reportedly captures the sequence of events, including the victim being attacked and subsequently falling to the ground after sustaining serious injuries.
Dog Intervenes During Attack
One of the most striking moments captured in the footage was when a dog intervened as the attacker allegedly continued assaulting the injured youth with the kirpan.
The dog reportedly charged at the attacker and attempted to pull him away from the victim. Its intervention appeared to disrupt the assault, forcing the attacker to retreat while waving the kirpan before fleeing the spot.
Injured Youth Hospitalised
The victim was left seriously injured and bleeding following the attack. Local residents and family members rushed him to a nearby hospital for treatment, where he is reportedly undergoing medical care.
