An infighting has erupted between partners of a famous hotel of Jalandhar. A serious dispute has erupted between the partners who won a famous hotel in Jalandhar situated on the highway. The dispute has erupted over the purchase of a piece of land.
As per sources, two partners who are holding a majority stake in the hotel have bought a land in the area without taking other partners into confidence.
Other partners have objected to this saying that the land was purchased unilaterally and it is unsuitable as well.
Sources further suggest that the majority-stake partners also submitted documents in bank to take a loan against the land. Again partners who have minority stakes were not taken in confidence.
Hence, three other partners wrote to the bank requesting not to approve the loan. As a result, bank has halted the loan sought by the partners who have purchased the land.
One of the key stakeholders in the hotel who has a majority stake is a Doctor in the city. The hotel has previously been in the spotlight for controversies, and the latest dispute has once again raised questions over its internal management and future operations.
