Today, on October 24, power supply in several areas of Jalandhar city will remain suspended for scheduled maintenance. Electricity will be cut off from 10 AM to 1 PM in areas under the 11 KV Sheetla Mandir and Ghazi Gulla feeders, including Charanjit Pura, Gopal Nagar, Mohalla Karar Khan, Board Wala Chowk, Patel Nagar, Gurdev Nagar, Ghazi Gulla, and nearby localities.
Similarly, under the 11 KV S.U.S. feeder, power will be interrupted in Makhdoompura, Lovely Auto area, Chhabra Sweets area, Neewa Suraj Ganj, Guru Kripa Flats, and nearby regions.
Areas under the Ghai Nagar feeder, including Ghai Nagar, Model House, Kot Mohalla, and Kot Bazaar, will also face a power cut.
Meanwhile, from 10 AM to 2 PM, power supply will be suspended in areas under the 11 KV Maan Nagar feeder, covering Wadala Chowk, Virk Enclave, Doordarshan Enclave, Golden View, Maan Nagar, New Green Park, Hamilton Tower, Red Rose Colony, Tower Colony, Khurla Kingra, Gill Colony, Victoria Garden, and surrounding localities.
In addition, under the 11 KV J.P. Nagar feeder, electricity will remain off from 11 AM to 2 PM in Ambedkar Nagar, Basti No. 9, Mohalla Shah Kuli, and J.P. Nagar areas. Authorities stated that the temporary shutdown is necessary for maintenance and system upgrades to ensure smoother and more reliable power supply in the future. They also urged citizens to plan their activities accordingly during the outage hours.
