Long power cut in Jalandhar PPR Mall, 19 other areas on Nov 1, check restoration time

At least 20 areas of Jalandhar have been witnessing electricity cut today i.e. November 1. The power went off in PPR Mall and 19 other areas of Jalandhar at 9 am on November 1. Around 12:30 pm when the power was still not restored, in PPR Mall and other areas, True Scoop reached out to electricity department officials.

Electricity Department Officials informed True Scoop that the reason of long power cut in Jalandhar today is due to maintenance work of Urban Estate Phase 2 substation. A permit was taken for electricity cut in 20 areas coming under this substation from 9 am to 5 pm.

The official further informed that the electricity is expected to be restored up to 5:30 pm. It means 20 areas of Jalandhar on November 1 is undergoing through almost 8.5 hours of power outage.
