The ongoing family dispute linked to the treatment of Gulshan Meer who is the father of the popular Sufi duo the Nooran Sisters is becoming more public and controversial day by day.
The issue first started when Ritu Nooran shared a QR code on social media asking for financial help for her father’s medical treatment and this move led to strong reactions with questions being raised about the family’s financial condition and why public donations were being sought.
The controversy grew further when Ritu Nooran’s ex-husband released a video breaking his silence on the matter and supported Jyoti Nooran and claimed that people are targeting her without knowing the full truth. He alleged that the family has enough money, assets and cars and said that asking for public donations was unnecessary and talking further about the issue he called the entire situation a “drama” and said that if help was really needed they could have asked privately instead of making it public.
He also made serious personal allegations against Ritu Nooran and claimed that she left him and their child when the baby was just six months old who is now around two years old. He further alleged that a man named “Mangi” who is often seen with Ritu was the reason behind problems in their relationship and also claimed that when Sultana Nooran visited the hospital to check on the family she was not treated well.
Now a new twist has come in the case as an audio recording of Ritu Nooran has surfaced and in the audio she is allegedly heard speaking angrily and using abusive language while responding to her ex-husband’s claims where she says that she does not even know him and has no reason to feel stressed about his statements.
In the recording Ritu questions the allegations made against her and asks for proof and also reacts to being called a “deceiver” on social media saying that it is wrong to make such claims without evidence. She further accuses her ex-husband of trying to defame her and using social media to create unnecessary drama.
Ritu also says that she had asked him to stop posting about her and give the matter some time but he continued to share content online and adds that such behavior is not right and is not how relationships or families should be handled.
In the end she issues a clear warning saying that he can say whatever he wants but it does not affect her anymore.
The matter has now turned into a major public controversy involving financial questions, personal allegations and family conflicts and so far no official legal action has been confirmed and further steps are expected to depend on statements from those involved.
