Power cut alert in Jalandhar on May 16: Check timing & affected areas

Residents in many parts of Jalandhar will face power cuts May 16 due to scheduled maintenance work on different 11 KV feeders and the electricity department has announced multiple shutdowns in the city and requested residents to cooperate during the maintenance period.

11 KV Mandi Road Feeder Shutdown

Power supply under the 11 KV Mandi Road Feeder will remain affected from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.

Areas likely to face electricity interruption include:

• Railway Road

• Mandi Road

• Partap Bagh

• Inderprasth Mohalla

• Bhagat Singh Chowk

• Panj Peer Chowk

• BKB

• Krishan Nagar

11 KV Railway Road Feeder Shutdown

Another scheduled shutdown has been announced for the 11 KV Railway Road Feeder from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.

The affected areas are:

• BKB

• Dhan Mohalla

• Old Railway Road

• BDS Nagar

11 KV Qilla Mohalla Feeder Shutdown

Power supply connected to the 11 KV Qilla Mohalla Feeder will also remain suspended from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.

Areas affected include:

• Dhan Mohalla

• Qilla Mohalla

• Kaji Mohalla

• Khingra Gate

• Panj Peer Bazar

• Attari Bazar

• Shivrajgarh

• Adda Hoshiarpur

11 KV Urban Estate Feeder Shutdown

The shutdown will take place from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

Areas affected are:

• Bashirpura

• Kamal Vihar

• Thakur Singh Colony
