Punjab Floods 2025: Vicky Kaushal, Sonam Bajwa and other Bollywood celebs who extended support to victims

While Punjabi stars like Jasbir Jassi, Sunanda Sharma, have the ground zero for flood relief works, Bollywood stars have started to join the chorus to extend their support to the flood victims.

Punjab Government on Tuesday evening in its daily flood bulletin confirmed that all the 23 districts of the state are now reeling under flood. As per government's data, Punjab Floods 2025 Death Toll has raised to 30. Punjab Police, Indian Armed Forces, NDRF, District Administration, NGOs and Punjabi stars have come together for flood relief works.

While Punjabi stars like Jasbir Jassi, Sunanda Sharma, have the ground zero for flood relief works, Bollywood stars have started to join the chorus to extend their support to the flood victims.

1) Diljit Dosanjh

Punjabi actor and singer who also works in Bollywood, Diljit Dosanjh adopted 10 highly affected villages. His team took to Instagram inform everyone about it. They posted, "Nanak Naam Chardi kala Tere Bhane Sarbat da Bhala Together, We Can Rebuild."

2) Sonam Bajwa

Punjabi actress Sonam Bajwa who has now stepped into the world of Bollywood has been quite active on social media raising awareness about Punjab Floods 2025.

Sharing a series of pictures on Punjab Flood, Bajwa wrote, "In these difficult times, my heart goes out to Punjab and everyone affected by the floods. The images and stories coming from there are truly heartbreaking, but what keeps me hopeful is the spirit of unity and resilience that Punjab has always shown.

I am doing my part to help by donating to organizations actively working on ground as rescue teams, and I humbly urge you to do yours too. Every contribution, no matter how small, can make a difference in someone’s life right now. Let’s come together and stand by Punjab in this crucial time."

3) Suneil Shetty

Affectionately called as 'Anna of Bollywood', Suneil Shetty took to his handle and wrote, "The images coming out of Punjab are heartbreaking.

Offering my prayers and ardaas for my Punjabi brothers, sisters, and our hardworking farmers.

These are testing times, and it’s on all of us to come forward and help in every way we can. Stay strong Punjab… we are with you."

4) Karan Johar

Bollywood film-maker Karan Johar took to his Instagram handle and wrote, "It’s been a tough time for our friends & family in Punjab with the brutality of the floods. Sending my prayers and strength to overcome this adversity. Please do your part in any way possible and share only verified information."

5) Kapil Sharma

'Comedy King' Kapil Sharma also took to his X handle and wrote, "Feeling heartbroken seeing my Punjab suffering due to floods.. My prayers are with all the families affected. We have always stood together in tough times, and I am sure with love and support we will overcome this too. Stay strong, we are with you."

6) Vicky Kaushal

Actor Vicky Kaushal took shared a note on his Instagram story that reads. "Scrolling seeing all that’s happening in Punjab and other regions in the north... villages flooded, people suffering. Praying for all those who are affected. Rabb meher bakshe.

Kuch Rabb de bande jede pindaach jaa jaa ke madad karde paye aa... onhanu salaam.

Figuring and reaching out to do my bit. Affected areas will need long term help. We stand together in this."

Notably, reports suggest that Vicky is in touch with NGOs and have assured them that if help needed, they can reach out to him.

7) Sonu Sood

Bollywood actor Sonu Sood has shared a video of himself assuring that he will do everything possible for Punjab Flood Victims.

Sharing his video, Sonu Sood wrote, "I stand with Punjab.

Anyone affected by these devastating floods is not alone. Together, we will help every single person get back on their feet.

If you need any kind of help, please don’t hesitate to message — we will do our best to reach out and support you in any way we can.

Punjab is my soul. Even if it takes everything, I will not back down.

We are Punjabis — and we do not give up."

8) Sanjay Dutt

Sanjay Dutt was among the first Bollywood actor who came forward and extended support to Punjab Flood victims. Dutt wrote, "The devastation caused by the floods in Punjab is truly heartbreaking. Sending strength and prayers to everyone impacted. I will support in every way I can. May Babaji bless and protect all in Punjab."

9) Shehnaaz Gill

Bigg Boss fame and Bollywood actress Shehnaaz Gill has also extended a helping hand to the people of Punjab. Shehnaaz has sent food items for the people of Punjab from Mumbai. A post of the actress is going viral on social media. In this post, food items are kept in a car for the people affected by the floods in Punjab. A poster of Shehnaaz Gill is also put up there.
