Punjab Government declares public holiday on July 31: Know whether schools & colleges will remain closed or not

The Punjab government has announced an optional holiday on July 31 on the occasion of the martyrdom day of Udham Singh. This holiday has been included in the list of government holidays for 2025.

The government has released a list of 28 optional holidays for the year 2025-26. Out of all these, government employees can take any two holidays according to their convenience. The holiday of July 31 is also part of this list.
