In a significant reshuffle in administrative department, the Punjab Government has issued transfer and posting orders of several IAS and PCS officers with immediate effect.
Here are the key transfers:
Aravind Kumar M.K., IAS (2011)- He will continue as Director, Treasury & Accounts and additionally serve as Special Secretary, School Education and Director General, School Education replacing Girish Dayalan, IAS.
Girish Dayalan, IAS (2011) – He is appointed as Registrar, Cooperative Societies, Punjab, replacing Vimal Kumar Setia, IAS.
Harpreet Singh Sudan, IAS (2013) – Now Director, Sports & Youth Services and also Director, Higher Education. He is relieved of his earlier role as Special Secretary, Revenue.
Rakesh Kumar Popli, PCS (2012) – He is appointed as Additional Chief Administrator (H.Q.), Punjab Urban Planning & Development Authority and also Additional Chief Administrator, Greater Mohali Area Development Authority (GMADA), SAS Nagar.
Amit Sareen, PCS (2012) – He is appointed as Joint Secretary, Defence Services Welfare and Secretary, Punjab Subordinate Service Selection Board in place of Kiran Sharma, PCS.
Ankur Mahindroo, PCS (2016) – Posted as Sub Divisional Magistrate, Mukerian, relieving Kanwaljit Singh, PCS.
Vikas Hira, PCS (2016) – To serve as Additional Chief Administrator (Policy), Punjab Urban Planning & Development Authority and also at Greater Ludhiana Area Development Authority (GLADA).
Harjot Kaur, PCS (2022) – Appointed Sub Divisional Magistrate, Patiala, replacing Gurdev Singh Dham, PCS.
Gurdev Singh Dham, PCS (2023) – Posted as Chief Minister's Field Officer, Ferozepur and also Assistant Commissioner (General), Ferozepur in place of Harjot Kaur, PCS.
