Bodybuilder and actor Varinder Singh Ghuman's death has left everyone in shock. Everyone is digging deep into Varinder Ghuman's death reason or what exactly happened to the bodybuilder. Mystery around his death has intensified after his friends got involved in a heated argument with doctors of Fortis Mohali alleging negligence. Jalandhar Cant MLA Pargat Singh also informed True Scoop saying that it appears 'negligence by the doctors'.

Reports suggest that it was Ghuman's last video. In the video, Ghuman said that some people say that injuries or problems are punishment for our actions. But as a sportsperson, I would like to say that these are not punishments, but fun. Injuries are the ones who work hard. These injuries make us feel proud."

He further said that representing the country, achieving great achievements, if we want to feel proud, we have to go through the pain. Yes, it's a part of life.

Laughing with the doctors, he said he wasn’t fitting properly into the MRI machine and playfully bid goodbye to the camera.

As per reports, Varinder Ghuman arrived at Fortis Hospital in Amritsar with the MRI report. He underwent an examination, and doctors recommended surgery for October 9th.

What did Fortis say on Varinder Ghuman's death?

Fortis Amritsar issued their official statement amid allegations of negligence. Their official statement reads-

"Mr. Varinder Singh Ghuman was evaluated in the OPD on 6th October 2025 for pain and restricted movement in his right shoulder. Following clinical assessment, arthroscopic rotator cuff repair with biceps tenodesis was advised. The patient had no known comorbidities.

He underwent the planned procedure under general anaesthesia on 9th October 2025. The surgery was uneventful and was completed around 3 PM with stable vital parameters throughout.

At approximately 3:35 PM, the patient developed a sudden cardiac arrhythmia. The anaesthesia, cardiology, cardiac anaesthesia, and critical care teams immediately initiated advanced resuscitation measures. Despite sustained and coordinated efforts, the patient could not be revived and was declared dead at 5:36 PM.

Fortis Hospital deeply regrets this unfortunate loss and extends heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and his numerous fans."
