Bollywood veteran actor Dharmendra passed away on November 24 at the age of 89. Dharmendra's demise left entire Bollywood as well as his millions of fans in India and his ancestral state Punjab in mourning. For those who are unaware, Dharmendra had a deep connection with Punjab. He was born on December 8, 1935 in Punjab.
As per reports, Dharmendra was born in Nasrali Village in Ludhiana district. Dharmendra's family lived in Nasrali when he was very young. However, due to job and family responsibilities, his family then moved to Sahnewal's Dangon.
The 'He-Man' of Bollywood, spent his early life in the village of Sahnewal. As per reports, Dharmendra studied at Government Senior Secondary School at Lalton Kalan, Ludhiana, where his father was the village school headmaster. Thereafter, the late actor did his matriculation in Phagwara in 1952.
