In a tragic incident in Kapurthala’s Seenpura, two motorcyclists fired gunshots at a women. SSP Gaurav Toora has officially confirmed the incident. According to the reports, the women was critically injured in the firing and taken to the hospital, where she was declared dead. The deceased has been identified as Hempreet Kaur, a resident of Seenpura. The lady had returned from abroad just a month ago.
As soon as the police received information about the incident, they arrived on the scene and cordoned off the entire area. Forensics team is collecting the evidence. SSP Gaurav Toora stated that the case is being investigated, and teams have been formed to identify and arrest the accused. The motive behind the firing is still under investigation.
After the incident, there is an atmosphere of fear in Seenpura and the surrounding areas, and security arrangements have been further tightened.
